TAYISHA BUSAY - So a few weeks ago I journeyed to Brooklyn to see Truman Peyote (CD in CR-1 NOW!) and the headlining band was some bizarre indie diy dance group with the name Tayisha Busay. What a great name that is! So I asked my friend Sean what Tayisha Busay was all about and apparently it's a few girls dressed in skimpy outfits that dance around and sing. So here I was on myspace and I bumped into this Tayisha Busay phenomenon and they are actually so GREAT. Oh man. And their shows look like so much fun! Their songs are poppy and dancey and they can actually sing! We have a single that they sent us and they will be sending us a physical CD for those of you who despise technology. You should probably check out their myspace in a mean time. http://www.myspace.com/tayishabusay If you dig YACHT combined with funk and more attitude and fun, really, you NEED to check out Tayisha Busay. Also, if you dug Natalie Portman's Shaved Head, you would probably like Tayisha Busay. But it's classier dance-y.
