So one of my favorite records of 2010 thus far is "In Search of Stoney Jackson" from Strong Arm Steady. The trio are signed to Talib Kweli's label, Black Smith, and the album is quite amazing. If you're into Talib himself, Common, Mos Def, etc; you will LOVE this album. So the song of the day is one featuring Talib Kweli because he is one of the most amazing rappers alive. The song is called "Get Started". I would love it if we could chart this album. That would make my life 1000x better. Let's chart some hip hop! We did it with Blakroc and J Davis Trio, let's continue the love! I mean c'mon, Vampire Weekend and Surfer Blood will be getting enough love from CMJ, let's help some awesome albums make it to the top!
