Jam of The Day: Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt - [Ride Friendship.]

Sometimes bands are better live than they ever will be recorded. Sometimes when you listen to a band, all of the wonderful memories and feelings and all of the armpits you tasted on NYE all come flowing to your juicy mind. For me, that is how I listen to most bands. More specifically, that is how I listen to Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! I've seen their acoustic set which was kind of weird and funky but musically, they sound a lot better acoustic since it was more reminiscent of A'Cappella choir music. When I saw their live set for the first time, it was kind of nostalgic of a girl scouts troop I was in during elementary school. We all danced under the giant quilt of sorts laced with decorative Christmas lights and Halloween lights. At one point, we were all on the floor watching something, although I don't really remember what we so intrigued by. People danced around with these giant make-shift costume type things. They reminded me of giant Slinky's with puppet-animal heads. It was all tons of fun and every time I've seen them since, it's been the ultimate dance party. The jam of the day is a song that when I listen to it, all of these wonderful dance party memories flood to mind. Obviously, your listening experience will be insanely different which is why I insist that you go to one of their shows ASAP! Make your life better!

Here are two videos from the Eskalators EP release show. Epic dance parties! The first is simply looking in at the dance party and the second is looking in from the dance party:
