I'm not crazy about Ted Leo, but perhaps you are. Ted Leo and the Pharmacists is a New Jersey band, just like those kids in Titus Andronicus. I've never understood the Ted Leo hype, but perhaps you do. Anyway this jam is probably better than most of the jamz on the new LP, "Brutalist Bricks." Actually, after roughly listening to the entire LP, the whole concept of Ted Leo makes me lol. I actually like another track on the album called Where Was My Brain, but The Stick is truly an awesome jam, maybe one of the only decent jamz Brutalist Bricks has to offer. Ted Leo isn't that bad. Give him a chance and he'll give you some joy; it's rare but it will come.
