Over the weekend I was off helping with Showpaper related activities when we started having a conversation about music genres. I was told that I had the brilliant power of creating new genres like glo-fi or chillwave. So for every new jam of the day, I'm going to create a genre. That will actually be the entire initiative of jam of the day; genre of the day? Well, I'd like to say that this astounding group of Georgians make the best clutter-fuzz jamz I've ever heard with clear influences from drab traditional genres like punk and pyschedlic pop. "A Crime" is actually the perfect way to illustrate how great their new record is. I think you'll like Carnivores if you're a fan of Holiday Shores or Pill Wonder, two very amazing bands! "A Crime" has been my personal jam of the day for probably the last week or so.
