The Humms Are Awesome. Buttermilk is awesome.

The Humms were born in a retirement community in Hartwell, GA in early 2008. They got their name from this elderly lady named Dorris who used to hum while she climbed trees to rescue kittens. Not surprisingly, they purchased a black van from a funeral home and toured some of this beautiful American nation and re-located to Athens, GA. Now they're releasing an epic record called Lemonland chock full of awesome fun jamz like my favorite one, Buttermilk. Buttermilk is an epic song full of fuzzy guitar drones and Zeke Sayer's rusty vocals. It's such a good jam that I've probably listened to it a thousand times since the album came in. The LP will be in CR1 sometime this week.
