Young Prisms

Just listened to what is going to probably be my favorite record of 2011. Young Prisms took CMJ by storm this year and they were honestly the only band that I really wanted to see. I wish it was easy to pick a jam for you, but I can't. So I'm just going to suggest you listen to what is probably the catchiest track, although EVERY SINGLE TRACK IS EPIC. Kanine just released a label sampler that will be in CR1 and you can peep some Young Prisms jams on there! In a mean time, think about how this album will be the best thing in 2011 besides having one year left to live. RIP THE WORLD 2012.

Jam of The Day: Dinowalrus - Electric Car, Gas Guitar

If you haven't seen Dinowalrus, you're missing out! I remember listening to their jamz on their myspace page probably about a year ago and I was all, oh man this is too weird for me. But then I saw them open for another band and it was crazy awesome. We finally got their new record and I'll burn a copy for the studio so you can all play it and share it with the rest of the world. Electric Car, Gas Guitar is awesome and you should listen to it. Do it. %%%%%%

Moving Images: Surfer Blood - Swim

The new video from Surfer Blood is pretty good and there's footage of Cameo Gallery which somehow looks really huge in the video when in reality it's a tiny little hole in the wall venue.
