Everything Sucks is a hardcore punk band from Strong Island, NY. They play fast dignified punk jamz with clever lyrics that pertain to life ultimately sucking. They're fucking awesome live and their name is pretty emblematic of life in Strong Island. What are we missing? Probably nothing. That's why you should check out the new LP, "the Taxes in Texas," which was just released on Dead Broke Rekerds. They're probably my favorite Dead Broke release thus far, or at least for the limited time I've been paying attention to Dead Broke! Their 12" (with awesome album art) will be in the new vinyl stash in CR1 and I will probably burn a CD for the studio, too. Not everyone is down with vinyl. Their jam WW3 is about a kid who was thinking about WW3 but was then distracted by HBO late night porn and then ended hanging out with his dad's friends who were cops and were very fond of young boys and stacks of text books. Remember, Oprah once said that family friends were most likely to be predators and not a true stranger. Oprah is a wise woman.
