A bunch of kids from Nashville Tennessee who are also members of Be Your Own Pet make up this sweet delicious band called Turbo Fruits. I've been anticipating their new album for quite a while. I've also been anticipating a sweet all-ages show from them, which I finally received. They opened on Saturday for another rad band called Monotonix. I have to say, their set reminded me very much of an Usher concert I was at when I was thirteen. It's pretty interesting actually. Their show was a median between something you'd expect at Titus Andronicus meets the magical presence of Usher. Anyway, their newest album, Echo Kid, is fucking awesome. It's definitely more approachable than their first album with much better harmonies and dancier jamz. Check it out in CR1!
