Jam of The Day: Laura Marling - Alpha Shallows

Laura Marling, without a doubt, is a young brilliant musical goddess. At the tender age of twenty, she has already released two amazing albums on a major label and she was even part of Noah and The Whale (until 2008). The jamz Laura Marling writes are probably the most dark and enigmatic jamz I've ever heard besides Emily Haines', "Knives Don't Have Your Back." Therefore, I think she is the second most amazing female musician besides Emily Haines. I think I'm legitimately obsessed with both. Emily Haines & Laura Marling, aaf. I wasn't expecting Laura Marling's new record to be anywhere near as brilliant as her debut, "Alas I Cannot Swim," but it's probably just as brilliantly bone chilling and depressing as that. It should be in the studio around Tuesday, but in a mean time, listen to this amazing jam called Alpha Shallows. It's da bombest.
